These colours will dominate fashion in 2025

Colours have always been at the heart of fashion. 2025 promises to be no exception. Reflecting on 2024, we saw everything from the bold brat green to the understated elegance of peach fuzz. If last year taught us anything, it's that there's no such as too many colours in our outfits.

Looking ahead, the runways for spring/summer 2025 have revealed a rich palette of shades set to take over the fashion world.

1 Gold: if 2024 was all in butter yellow, 2025 is all about the richness of 24k gold. Designers like Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent are showcasing gold as a confident, statement-making shade.

2 Tea rose: Barbiecore may be on its way out, but pink isn’t going anywhere. And tea rose is a softer, more romantic take on the colour.

3 Icy blue: There's something very cool about icy blue. It's dreamy and elegant. Designers like Cecilie Bahnsen and Chloé are embracing this frosty hue with floaty dresses and delicate separates that feel perfect for both casual and formal settings.

4 Cardinal red: we’ve had a long love affair with fiery reds, but this year, cardinal red takes centre stage.

5 Chocolate brown: chocolate brown is the new go-to neutral.

6 Frog green: while brat green was a hit in 2024, 2025 brings a calmer, fresher shade: frog green. This grassy tone feels natural and playful, making it a favourite for brands like Victoria Beckham and Sandy Liang.
