How to tint your eyebrows at home: a step-by-step guide

Tired of filling in your brows every morning? DIY eyebrow tinting is an easy and cost-effective way to enhance your natural brows. Just follow these simple steps!

1 Prep your brows: make sure your brows are clean and makeup-free, then brush them into shape with a spoolie. Apply a thin layer of Vaseline around your brows to prevent staining.

2 Mix the dye: follow the instructions on your brow tinting kit, mixing the dye and developer until smooth. For a natural look, choose a shade slightly lighter than your hair.

3 Apply the dye: use a wooden stick or spoolie to coat your brows with dye, starting at the front and working through to the ends. Clean up any excess with a cotton swab.

4 Set the timer: let the dye sit for one minute, then check the colour. If needed, reapply and leave for another minute until you reach your desired shade.

5 Remove the dye: wipe off the dye with a damp cotton pad. If the colour looks too dark, cleanse with micellar water—it will fade slightly after a couple of washes.

6 Repeat for the other brow: make sure both brows match by repeating the process on the other side. If one brow turns out darker, gently scrub it with cleanser to even them out.
