Heat is no longer a problem: 6 practical ways to cool down (at home and outside)
Even the biggest fan of the heat sometimes needs to cool down. Not all households have air conditioning, and not everyone is a fan of it. Sometimes we need something that will cool us down instantly, or something that will easily cool the space we are in. Or even something that will cool us down while we're riding public transportation (yes, public transportation!).
Although some of our methods may seem a bit unusual, or even bizarre, in practice they have proven to be excellent solutions. They are simple, almost anyone can use them, and they will provide you with a little oasis of comfort during these hot summer days.
1. Fill a rubber hot water bottle with water and freeze it. After a few hours, when the bottle is cold, you can place it on your lap while sitting at the computer and working, or you can take it to bed with you when you sleep.
2. If you have a fanny pack, it can be very helpful for cooling down. Freeze a small bottle of water that you'll put in the fanny pack just before you leave the house. Wear it around your waist and enjoy the pleasant and cool feeling. We believe this method will be useful every time you go out, especially if you get stuck on a tram or bus!
3. Get a fan. It's simple, easily portable, and fits in almost any bag.
4. Cool down your bed before going to sleep by placing a few frozen bottles of water under the covers.
5. Place a frozen bottle of water in front of a fan.
6. Cool and refresh yourself with a hydrating face mist.
